2K Games has welcomed Ben Brinkman from Respawn Entertainment to direct the studio crew at their internal studio, which is currently developing the forthcoming third-person action-packed title known as this innovative game.
Management Change Comes After Lukewarm Response
The new appointee assumes the leadership position at the development studio following the departure of previous head the ex-Sledgehammer Games executive, who was removed from his post due to Project Ethos' disappointing unveiling last fall.
On Wednesday, the company's top executive David Ismailer notified employees about this organizational change through an official communication, which stressed that playtesting had shown the necessity for a clearer direction.
Ismailer noted that the developers is now overhauling Project Ethos with a refreshed vision, aiming to address community desires.
Trend of Key Recruitment
This announcement follows a similar step taken by the publisher in the summer, when they brought on Rod Fergusson from the Diablo team to work on the beloved franchise studio Cloud Chamber.
